As the world goes by faster, more efficiently, less personable…

As we lose the significance of handwritten, handmade and apprenticeship as avenues to tap into old and new knowledge

As we lose touch with gifts and blessings held in the memory movement and stirrings of our hands, hearts and spirits…

As we try to get to places faster, heads downcast over depending on google maps to tell us where we are and where we are headed…

As our eyes remain untrained to reading skies, sunrise, sunsets, marking landmarks to navigate the land…

As we forget the importance of slowing down and taking in the mundane things around us…

As we steer away from immersing ourselves in nature…

As we lose personal touch with loved ones…

As we neglect to pen or express our unprocessed sentiments and feelings....

As we grow more reliant upon external experiences to restrain and restore us….

As we split and reject more parts of ourselves to fit in...

As we neglect to call for support from our ancestors...

As we lose touch with the cathartic power of walkabouts and treks to test our resilience…

Are we not losing what it is to live in the moment truly?

Fortunately for us...each day offers a fresh prospect to unravel the bonds that tie and limit us...

We may choose each time to desire and pursue what wholeness and being present could look like in every moment.

Here is to wishing you a legacy of not just living, not just surviving, but to flourishing too!
